Formal Season

Ratcatcher Attire (Thursdays only)

Please arrive by 12:30 for check-in. 

Thursday Hunts Only: Casual attire - Thursday hunts are collared shirt and britches during roading and ratcatcher attire during formal season (after opening meet.) These hunts are at a more measured pace to accommodate newer riders and green horses. A typical Thursday includes walking and trotting with potential for a canter if deemed safe by the masters.

Subscription fees apply – The subscription covers the entire season – from April to November – and includes Spring Roading, Fall Cubbing and our Formal Season. The subscription rate for FALL ONLY is $1200.

Capping fees for adults: $100 on Tuesdays, $100 Thursdays, $150 on weekends and $200 for special hunts (Blessing of the Hounds/Landowners’ Picnic, NE Joint Meet and Thanksgiving.)

New rider and New England hunts subscribers courtesy discounts:

• Subscribers from other New England Hunts are offered a 20% discount on all capping fees excluding special hunts (opening meet - Myopia subscribers only, Blessing of the Hounds and Thanksgiving).

• NEW participants are eligible for a $25% discount on their first 3 capping fees (excluding Columbus Day and Thanksgiving)

Capping fees for juniors:  $30 on Weekdays, $50 on weekends, $60 for special hunts

Each rider can cap an unlimited number of times during the Fall 2023 Season. Any capping fees already paid during the fall season will be applied to the cost of your fall subscription when you do subscribe.
